SDM: social distancing machine. human scale intervention in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This machine was designed with the intent to keep others at a safe distance during the ongoing pandemic. Due to it’s materials, it is able to collapse down into a manageable size for travel + storage. Designed through sketching and created entirely by hand with no digital assistance.
